At CricketPRO, we want to ensure that your online shopping experience is great in terms of range, price and delivery. We understand that there could be situations where you might want to return your purchase and we would be happy to facilitate the same as explained below.

  • I bought an item from your website. But this is not what I want.
  • or the item is not the correct size. Can I send it back?

Yes, you can. Note: refund and returns policy lasts 7 days due to the nature of the items sold at CricketPRO. During this period clients have sufficient time to fit and check for damaged/broken items. If 7 days have passed since receiving your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, unless you choose to return item yourself.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • What do I do? If I received broken/damaged item.

We will send our courier to collect the broken/damaged product and replace it with a new one. Please send us an email to support@cricketpro.co.za or whatsapp 078 025 8285 with an image of the broken/damaged product.

BAT BREAKAGES:

Given the nature of the sport below are various kinds of common breakages faced by a cricket bat: Note: We do have a 90 day warranty (repair) policy in place for every cricket bat sold from the date of purchase should any general breakage occur. We will also go as far as replacing the cricket bat within a period of 12 months if not repairable but must be purchased at full retail value and not discounted.

Handle Breaks

Cause: General wear and tear or a possible defect in the cane.

Solution: NOT REPLACEABLE, the handle can be replaced with a new one. Replacing the handle will not reduce performance or life of the bat. Players will have to supply or purchase their own stickers to rebrand the bat if stickers cannot be saved.

Crack Accross The Blade

Cause: Wind infected, Weak or excessively dry willow.

Solution: REPLACEABLE at manufacturers discretion depending on the general usage of the bat. Proof of purchase with date is necessary.

Surface Crack On The Face Of The Blade

Cause: General wear and tear, use of hard cheap balls, and no proper knocking in.

Solution: NOT REPLACEABLE, the crack will not affect the performance of the bat. Repairable at the manufacturers discretion. Fitting of protective tape will reduce the damage.

Cracking On The Edge Of The Blade

Cause: General wear and tear, mistimed shots or no proper knocking in.

Solution:  NOT REPLACEABLE.  Repairable at the manufacturers discretion. Quite visible cracks can be repaired. Such cracks will not affect the performance of the BAT. Use of fibre tape will prevent such damages.

Surface Cracking To The Toe Of The Blade/Split Toe

Cause: General wear and tear. Such damages are caused due hitting hard at the Yorker at the toe end of the bat.

Solution: NOT REPLACEABLE, Repairable at the manufacturers discretion.

Shoulder Crack

Cause: Mishit or ball hitting full on the shoulder area.

Solution: NOT REPLACEABLE, repairable at the manufacturers discretion.

Moisture Damage

Cause: Such type of damage occurs as a result of use in wet conditions. It generally leads to swelling of the toe area of the blade, which after drying may well split. Fitting a toe Guard will prevent such damage.

Solution: NOT REPLACEABLE, there is no manufacturing defect in this. The damage may be repairable at the manufacturers discretion.

Damages Due To Use Of Poor Quality Cricket Ball Or Bad Usage Of Bat

Cause:

Use of Poor quality or hard cricket balls can cause damage to the blade of the bat.

It is highly recommended that only balls made by reputable manufacture be used.

Bad usage: Caused generally by hitting bat against any other hard surface other than the cricket ball.

Solution: Such damages are NOT REPLACEABLE, might be repairable at manufacturers discretion.

**Note** All the repairs will be done at manufacturers discretion and to be done at client’s cost.

Ball Breakage:

Balls are ordered by the customer’s discretion only, no balls will be replaced or repaired once purchased. It is the buyer’s responsibility to research quality of balls. We, however, guarantee that the customers will receive a true representation of the balls ordered.
